Last night's show!
Thank you to one and all for coming to Mary's solo show last night at Doubleshots! It was lovely to see you all, and what a beautiful venue it was! Mary felt like she was playing in the living room of a great manor house somewhere. :o) Here was da setlist, in all its glory!: 1. On Dying (for Attention) 2. Nice Boy/Blow My Cover 3. (No Title) 4. Exanimi Cheers also for Peasant, whose set last evening was delightful -- Mary is totally digging his new CD, Fear Not Distant Lover which you can buy via the Peasant website. Yay! Oh, and speaking of CDs, the dudez from Turtle Studios swung by for the show, and brought with them the mastered tracks from the forhcoming fen...great, now all Mary needs is artwork and a record deal! ;D If you weren't able to make it out last evening, never fear -- don't forget that Mary will be playing a huuuuuuuuuge show on February 3rd, 2006 as part of Philadelphia's monthly First Friday art festival. So far the line up includes a classical guitarist who dabbles in rock, a classically- and jazz-trained five-string and fretless bassist, an acoustic/electronic percussionist with DJ roots, and a string quartet that will rock your socks off.
