Hey all! We've got some fun Box Five news for ya!:
Solo performance & interview with Mary airs May 6th on WXPN!
Recently Box Five's own Mary Bichner paid a visit to 88.5 WXPN, taping an in-studio solo performance and interview conducted by the fabulous Helen Leicht. The piece is scheduled to air on Tuesday, May 6th 2008, during the Philly Local program between 9:00pm and 10:00pm. Philadelphia folks can turn their trusty radio dial to 88.5FM, and those outside the city can log on to www.wxpn.org for an internet stream of the station's airwaves. We hope you'll listen, hurrah! :D
Box Five Live @ the Philadelphia Folk Festival, 08/16/08!
And HOORAY! On Saturday, August 16th, Box Five will most happily be performing at the 47th-annual Philadelphia Folk Festival! More info such as set time and line-up info will be available soon. By they way, this very well may be the ONLY Philadelphia-area Box Five performance happening this summer, so be sure to mark those calendars! ;)

TODAY RULES: Hear us on WXPN today, come to our Tin Angel gig tonight!
Hooray! We just found out that a Box Five tune is to be the Local Pick for today's installment of WXPN's Philly Local, hosted by the lovely Helen Leicht. The radio program starts at 1:00pm, and can be listened to either online at www.wxpn.org, or at 88.5FM if you live in the Philadelphia area. Yahoooo! Thanks, Helen! :D

This Thursday: Box Five, Live @ the Tin Angel!
HOORAY! Box Five, RAWK BAND EDITION, will be headlining at the Tin Angel this Thursday, April 3rd at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10.00 for this 21+ show, and will feature additional performances by Tania Alexandra and Anj.
