TWO FREE SHOWS IN NC THIS WEEKEND!

Hello to our pals in the Triangle! Just wanted to let you know that Mary will be playing TWO special solo sets in North Carolina this weekend, and both will be FREE!

The first will be at Royal Bean Coffee [3801 Hillsborough St., #137; Raleigh NC] on Friday, January 30th from 5-7pm, alongside fellow Philly singer/songwriter Alexandra Day.

The second show will take place on Saturday, January 31st at the Living Room [219 N. Salem St., Suite #203; Apex NC] starting at 8pm. Other performs that evening include thetourist, Alexandra Day, and Arielle Bryant.

It's going to be SO FUN, hope you can come!! :)

Salon gig -- thanks, everyone!
A big thank you and huge hugs to Andrea Clearfield for inviting us to play her awesome Salon this past weekend, we had a blast! Thanks also to everyone who attended this special gig, and a fond hello to all the new friends we made! We'll be back next season so we'll keep you posted with the dates and stuff!

Hooray!! Box Five's most darling ditty, "Nice Boy/Blow My Cover", has today hit the homepage of the very awesome thesixtyone.com! Just in case you don't know, thesixtyone is an awesome website that allows music-crazed websurfers to discover their new favorite tunes. Happy New Year, to one and all! Box Five back and better than ever, and boy have we got fun news for ya!:

The Box Five Missiveboard is BACK ONLINE!
YAAAAAAAAY, at long last!! Just wanted you to know that Box Five's little messageboard, called The Missiveboard, is finally back online. Do sign up, and chat with us!:

We are still tweaking some things such as the design of the board and some other features, but just because the board ain't pretty yet doesn't mean you can't post!! <3

Also, to veteran missiveboardies of days gone by: as a security measure we upgraded to PHPBB3, so the old board had to be erased completely...but we can make it a beautiful place once again!

Thanks SO much to Daniel Alexander Smith and Kevin Taphouse for helping us get the MB back online!!
