Tomorrow: Box Five Live @ Bloc 11
Good evening gorgeous Boston-type friends! Just a gentle reminder that Box Five will be performing tomorrow, Wednesday April 14th, at Bloc 11 in Somerville MA. We take the stage promptly at 7pm as a piano-and-violin duo, and the lovely Eliza Kopczysnka will be joining me on violin -- she is INCREDIBLE, and will be playing classical works in addition to fun and funky pop tunez. HELLO gorgeous Box Five friends, it's been awhile! Fondest hopes that you are doing well and life is groovy! Just wanted to send a quick little note with some things that you might enjoy:
New live music video for Box Five's "The Clear" HOORAY! There is now a GORGEOUS live music video for Box Five's "The Clear", an as-yet unrecorded tune that is becoming a live-show favorite. Thanks so much to David and his team for both creating AND giving us the go-ahead to post this incredible video! By the by, "The Clear" is going to be one of the ten to eleven pieces that grace our debut full-length album, Leave the Earth Behind, which will be released with much joy sometime in November of 2010. Wait...what? Album!? WHAT?! Yes, yes, really! :D Allow us to spill the beans at long last, even though we already just sorta did that in the previous paragraph!: our debut full-length album, Leave the Earth Behind, will be released with much joy sometime in November of 2010! And there will be a string ensemble! And an oboe! And a trumpet! And back up singers! And a harpsichord! And goddness knows what else!! :D We'll keep the rest of the details a secret for now, but will be sending out more tantalizing tidbits in future newzletterz!! :D WOO!
